Following (no pun intended) Chris's advice to remove the "NoFollow" attribute from comment so as to encourage readers to comment on my blog posts, I read up on Andy Beard's post on "Ultimate list of DoFollow andNoFollow Plugins" and did a little research of this topic elsewhere.
I used the tutorial on BetaBloggerforDummies on How to Remove Nofollow From Blogger / Blogspot. Having done that, I'll share with you - Here is a guide on how to remove nofollow from your New Blogger blog.
MODIFYING THE TEMPLATE
Login to Blogger dashboard and click on layout of your blog. Then click on Edit Html subtab of Template tab. First backup your template by clicking on the Download Full Template link. Put a check in the Expand Widgets Template Checkbox at the top of the Edit Template text box. This expands the Blog Posts Widget Code within which is the comments code. Then scroll down or press Ctr+F to find rel='nofollow', till you arrive at:
- Delete the words in red in the above code : rel='nofollow' and save the template.

I like nofollow movements , I encourage everybody doing that especialy for newely blogs because once you follow everybody visits your page adds your blog link and they comment!!!

The NoNoFollow movement is a great way to increase blog participation at the end of the day if you want to leave a comment the last thing you want is for it to be moderated by some backdoor piece of code. I for one have implemented the DoFollow plugin on my blogs and hope more people do so in the future.

Its great to see the do follow movement gaining momentum. Moderation is the way to go. I don't understand why blog templates are no follow by default.
I really agree with the dofollow changes that a lot of the sites are doing nowadays. it helps people create a lot of backlinks to their sites which might otherwise take months to get a listing anywhere
